How it works

No medication. No sedation.

Exomind uses transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), gentle magnetic pulses aimed at the front of the brain, the area involved in mood, focus, and impulse control. It's FDA-cleared and offered here as wellness support. You sit comfortably, fully clothed, and go back to your day.

Questions?

What patients ask us most.

Still wondering if Exomind is right for you? Call us at (609) 402-4900.

Is this the same as TMS for depression?

+

It uses the same FDA-cleared category of technology. The difference is context: psychiatric TMS is a treatment protocol for a diagnosed condition, delivered over many more sessions. We offer Exomind as wellness support for mood, focus, and food-related thinking.

Do I need a psychiatric diagnosis?

+

No. A diagnosis isn’t required and we don’t make one. Most of our Exomind patients come in because fog, anxiety, or food noise is affecting their quality of life.

Can I do this while I’m on antidepressants?

+

Yes, many patients do. Exomind works alongside your medication, not in place of it. Any changes to your medication are between you and your prescriber.

How is this different from seeing a psychiatrist?

+

A psychiatrist diagnoses and manages mental health conditions, including medication. We work in the wellness space. We don’t diagnose or manage psychiatric illness, and we don’t replace that care. If you’re working with a mental health provider, Exomind sits alongside them. If you’re not and you need one, we’ll tell you.

Do I need to have my hormones checked first?

+

You can start Exomind on its own. If you’d like to know whether hormones play a part, we can check that too.

Is there downtime?

+

None. No sedation, no medication, no driver needed. You sit for 24 minutes and go back to your day.

How long do results last?

+

It varies from person to person. Some patients add occasional maintenance sessions, and we’ll talk through whether that makes sense for you.

What does it cost?

+

We’re a cash-based practice, so treatments aren’t billed through insurance. Pricing is covered at your complimentary consultation. HSA or FSA funds and payment plans are available.
