Perimenopause & menopause

You're not imagining it, and you don't have to push through it.

Hormones can start shifting in your mid-30s, years before your cycle changes. We test what's actually happening and build a hormone replacement therapy plan around your body.

What perimenopause can feel like.

If several of these sound familiar, your hormones are worth a closer look.

✓ Hot flashes and night sweats
✓ Sleep that won’t hold through the night
✓ Brain fog
✓ Mood swings, anxiety, irritability
✓ Low libido
✓ Vaginal dryness or painful sex
✓ Joint aches
✓ Irregular or changing cycles

Bioidentical hormones, dosed for you.

We prescribe only bioidentical hormones: molecules identical to what your body already makes, rather than synthetic substitutes. That typically means estrogen and progesterone, and for most women, testosterone as well.

This is not a one-size-fits-all protocol. Your dose is built from your symptoms and your labs together, then refined as your body responds.

We see women at every age and stage, from early perimenopause through post-menopause. Whether hormone replacement therapy is right for you depends on your health history and risk factors, not your birthday.

Comprehensive labs, from hormones to stress markers.

We test more than a standard panel, so your plan is built on the full picture.

Estradiol
Your main estrogen: hot flashes, sleep, mood.
Progesterone
Balances estrogen; supports sleep and calm.
Total & Free Testosterone
Libido, energy, and focus. Often left out of women’s testing.
FSH
Shows where you are in the transition.
LH
Read alongside FSH.
SHBG
How much of your hormone is usable.
Cortisol
Your main stress hormone.
DHEA
A building block for estrogen and testosterone.
Pregnenolone
The starting point for other hormones.

Delivered the way that fits your life.

Hormones are rarely the whole answer. Your plan may also include nutrition, supplements, thyroid or gut support, and pelvic health treatments.

We track how you feel and adjust your plan as your body responds.

What patients ask us most.

Is hormone replacement therapy safe? What about breast cancer risk?

+

It’s a fair question. Research since the early-2000s headlines has shown that risk depends on the type of hormone, when you start, and your personal and family history. We review all of that with you before you start anything.

Am I too young for this?

+

Probably not. Hormones can begin shifting in your mid-30s, often years before your cycle changes, and being told you’re "too young" is one of the most common reasons women go untreated. We see women at every age and stage.

Am I too old to start?

+

Age alone doesn’t rule you out. Whether hormone replacement therapy is appropriate depends on your overall health and risk factors, which we evaluate together.

How is this different from what my OB/GYN offers?

+

Many women are offered a standard prescription without a full hormone panel. We test comprehensively, include testosterone when it’s appropriate, and monitor you over time.

Do I have to be on it forever?

+

That’s your decision, and we’ll make it together. Many women stay on hormone therapy long-term because they feel significantly better on it. We reassess regularly rather than setting it and forgetting it.

Who will I see?

+

You’ll see one of our nurse practitioners who focus on women’s hormone health. Our health coaches and patient care coordinators support you between visits. You can meet the whole team on our About page.

Do you offer virtual visits?

+

Yes. We offer in-office and virtual visits. Virtual visits are available to patients located in New Jersey.

What does it cost?

+

We’re a cash-based practice, so care isn’t billed through insurance. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds, and we offer payment plans. Pricing is covered on your free discovery call, before you commit to anything.

What if I’ve had breast cancer?

+

We evaluate these situations case by case, in coordination with your oncologist. We won’t make that decision in isolation, and we’ll be straightforward with you about what we can and can’t safely offer.

A complimentary discovery call is the first step.
